SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL
Since 2016, the leathers and lambskins used by the 29thOctober House come exclusively from the food sector and are an integral part of a recycling process. Instead of being burned, the skins are treated and reused, thus giving a second life to this noble material.
SUPPLY CHAIN
The 29thOctober House gets its supplies from the best European tanneries. In its quest for eco-responsibility, the House is constantly on the lookout for certified and eco-labelled producers promoting vegetable tanning and manufacturing processes with limited environmental impact.
LOCAL PRODUCTION
All the collections are manufactured by skilled craftsmen in the House's workshop in Brussels.
COMMITMENTS
More than ever concerned about its environmental and social impact, the 29THOCTOBER House is committed to a human cause close to its heart. The House supports the international PLAN association, which fights for the protection and education of refugee children in poor countries. Part of its annual turnover is donated to the PLAN association. In addition, by installing solar panels, the House is committed to making its workshops 100% energy self-sufficient by 2025.
